A little bit about me:
Hello, I’m Jo, and I am one of driving-pro’s female driving instructors. I love driving, it’s my favourite hobby. Just recently I took and passed my RoSPA advanced driving test at GOLD. My other passion is tap dancing, which is such great fun.
I live in Gosport with my husband of 26 years and my one and only 11 year old daughter.
Before I became a driving instructor I worked in the nursing industry, working within the community of Portsmouth. This job enabled me to adopt and develop a calm, friendly and patient nature. As I often worked with vulnerable people, this has helped me further develop good people skills. I have been able to transfer these skills into my new job role as a driving instructor.
I have been driving for 28 years and I have a C&G 7307 both parts of The Further and Adult Education Teachers Certificate.

I had the wonderful Jo as my instructor and Jo is a miracle worker! Nicknamed her the “fixer” because Jo did fix all the silly mistakes I was making. I had failed my test a couple of times before with another driving service but passed first time with Jo. She was so understanding, calm, professional, patient and answered any questions/queries I had. Jo made me feel comfortable and reassured in all our lessons. About Driving-Pro
Driving-Pro is an independent driving school based in Portsmouth. Our fantastic team of local driving instructors deliver lessons throughout Portsmouth, Havant, Fareham, Gosport and Waterlooville.
