A little bit about me:
I’ve lived in and around Portsmouth all my life, so I know the area well. I have a grown-up daughter who I enjoy spending time with, usually at the cinema or curry house! I love jazz music and classic cars, and can while away many an hour listening to Jazz FM while browsing classic cars on eBay. I also enjoy dinner out with friends and the odd car show when one presents itself.
My entire career has been focused on cars and vehicles. I worked in the motor trade for many years and have 12 years’ experience of driving artic lorries. Once you’ve manoeuvred one of those down a single track lane, every other driving task seems easy!
Over the last three years I’ve been teaching friends to drive. I really enjoyed it and was good at it too, so I decided to become an instructor full time. I got in touch with driving-pro and with their help and a lot of swotting up, I passed my exams and qualified as an instructor. I now look forward to meeting new people and helping them learn how to drive and be safe on the roads.

My driving instructor Gav was fantastic! I passed my test first time with only one minor driving fault all thanks to him. He prepared me very well, including going through “show me, tell me” questions in detail, taking me on a variety of potential test routes and making sure to help me with any difficulties and challenges I had.
