A little bit about me:
I’ve lived in and around Portsmouth all my life, so I know these roads inside out—from busy city streets to narrow country lanes. Outside lessons, you’ll find me at the cinema or a curry house with my grown‑up daughter, tuning into Jazz FM, or browsing classic cars and the odd car show.
My entire career has revolved around vehicles. I spent years in the motor trade and then clocked up 12 years behind the wheel of articulated lorries. Once you’ve manoeuvred an artic down a single-track lane, everything else feels straightforward—and that calm, precise approach is exactly what I bring to teaching.
Over the last few years I began helping friends learn to drive and discovered how much I enjoyed it. With support from driving-pro (and plenty of swotting), I passed my exams and qualified as an instructor. Now I’m excited to help learners of all levels build real-world confidence and safe driving habits that last.

My driving instructor Gav was fantastic! I passed my test first time with only one minor driving fault all thanks to him. He prepared me very well, including going through “show me, tell me” questions in detail, taking me on a variety of potential test routes and making sure to help me with any difficulties and challenges I had. About Driving-Pro
